The Covid-Friendly Mask-Taker-Off-er (Say That Five Times Fast)LOOPIE offers a Covid-conscious way to take off your mask, foregoing the use of your germ-y fingers.

I started my academic journey at Georgia Tech in the Fall of 2021. While vaccinated and protected from Covid-19, I have family members who are are autoimmune compromised, which resulted in extra caution and isolation during the pandemic. Coming to school, I felt my lived experience of covid really impact the way that I navigated academia’s environment with lectures, studio time, and germ consciousness. 
LOOPIE is my solution to ease the minds of people still conscious of covid infection, as well as an overall consciousness of germs in a “post-covid” world.
