My knitting installation, GG Knit, is an ambient design installation that visualizes garter stitches as they are continuously pulled apart and reconstructed in space.
By translating a familiar handcraft into a responsive digital form, GG Knit reflects on why we continue to make things with our hands—even in a digital age. The cyclical pulling apart and putting together shows the natural cycles of tension and release—like breath, like emotion, like life itself.
